Peer Review Policy
IJHTS is an international, peer-reviewed journal which publishes high quality, original research contributions to scientific knowledge in the field of tourism and hospitality management education. All manuscript submissions are subject to initial appraisal by the Editor and if found suitable for further consideration, to peer review by independent, anonymous expert referees. All peer review is double-anonymized and submission is online via IJHTS submission system. The peer review process aims to achieve excellence and rigour in scholarly publications and research in IJHTS.
Publication Policy
Publishing India Group is a trusted platform dedicated to advancing global research and knowledge dissemination through high-quality, peer-reviewed academic journals across multiple disciplines. The publisher- Publishing India Group and editorial board of International Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Systems have adopted the publication ethics and malpractice statements of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) (http://publicationethics.org/resources/guidelines). COPE provides ethical guidelines and codes of conduct for publishers, journal editors, and reviewers. These guidelines highlight what is expected of authors and what they can expect from the reviewers and editorial board in return. They also provide details of how problems will be handled.
Ethical Considerations
Further it is stated that IJHTS follows an ethical policy that all invitations to review, abstracts, manuscripts, and reviews should be kept confidential. In fact, reviewer(s) must not share their review or information about the review process of manuscript with anyone without the agreement of the editor(s) and author(s) involved, even after publication of the paper. The same process will also applies to “comments to author” which are shared with you on the decision about your manuscript.
