Abstract
Organizations operate in a hyperconnected and quickly evolving world in the digital age, dealing with issues including unanticipated crises, global rivalry, and technology upheavals. A key component of long-term corporate success is developing organizational resilience, or the ability to foresee, adjust, and react to these difficulties. As a strategic asset, human capital is essential to building resilience since it allows for organizational agility, creativity, and adaptability. With an emphasis on Human Resource Management (HRM) strategies that improve workforce adaptability, engagement, and skill development, this article investigates the impact of human capital in fostering organizational resilience. The significance of practices including employee wellness programs, agile performance management, flexible work schedules, and digital upskilling to organizational flexibility and long-term viability is investigated. The paper uses several case studies of well-known corporations that have effectively used HRM techniques to boost resilience and promote business continuity, such as Microsoft, Infosys, and Unilever. These examples highlight the value of strategic foresight in fostering organizational resilience by demonstrating how businesses that successfully integrate cutting-edge technology with HR procedures are better equipped to withstand setbacks and prosper in the face of uncertainty. In a hyper connected economy, businesses may maintain performance while effectively responding to disturbances by combining HRM principles with organizational agility. By providing useful insights for managers and policymakers looking to leverage human capital for sustainable business development in the digital age, this paper adds to the growing conversation on Resilience 2.0.
