Abstract
Climate change has emerged as one of the most significant global challenges affecting economic development, environmental sustainability, and social well-being. Green entrepreneurship has gained increasing attention as a mechanism for addressing environmental problems while generating economic opportunities. This study explores how green entrepreneurial practices contribute to climate adaptation strategies in modern economies. Using insights from empirical studies and existing literature, the paper examines the role of eco-innovation, resource efficiency, renewable energy adoption, and circular economy practices in helping businesses adapt to climate change. The findings indicate that green entrepreneurs significantly contribute to climate resilience by promoting sustainable technologies, reducing environmental impacts, and supporting community-based adaptation initiatives. The study also highlights key barriers such as financial constraints, lack of policy support, and technological limitations that hinder the growth of climate-focused enterprises. The paper concludes that strengthening institutional support, promoting green finance, and enhancing innovation ecosystems can accelerate the role of green entrepreneurship in climate adaptation and sustainable development.
