Abstract
The objective of this study was to examine the effect of Supplier Relationship Management on Humanitarian Supply Chain
Performance at World Vision Ethiopia Addis Ababa. To achieve the objective of the study, a quantitative approach with an
explanatory design is used. A total of 231 valid questionnaires were distributed and collected using a simple random sampling
technique. The internal consistency of variables was reliable in the study variables. Data were analyzed using inferential
statistics like Pearson’s bivariate correlation and multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The study result indicates that
trust, commitment, cooperation and transparency/information sharing had a statistically positive and significant effect on the
humanitarian supply chain performance of WVE. Whereas, power, communication and supplier performance management have
a positive but statistically insignificant effect on the humanitarian supply chain performance. Accordingly, the researchers suggest
practitioners to give emphasis for the supply relationship influencing factors to improve humanitarian supply chain performance.
Finally, managerial and theoretical implications are forwarded along with future research directions.
