Abstract
This article explores the citation practices, source preferences, collaboration trends and research focuses of physics researchers at the Central University of Jammu, through bibliometric analysis, it reveals a strong preference for journal articles, a focus on high-impact publications, collaborative authorship patterns, global institutional affiliations and diverse research interests, including advanced materials and nanotechnology. These findings offer valuable insights into the university’s research dynamics and its standing in the global physics research community.
