This article compares the web visibility of 51 library websites that correspond to the 20 state universities, 25 private universities and 06 deemed universities of Haryana state. The ranking based on visibility index investigated by the authors. A search engine optimisation application named Sistrix Toolbox was utilised to research web visibility. It examines a significant quantity of data, the most famous of which is the visibility index, which combines various data indications to examine site visibility. In this study, after analysing the data, it is concluded that most of university libraries’ websites have low ranking level. Few university library websites have good ranking.
