All these give rise to the work-life balance problems. The factor analysis suggests that their personal lives suffer due to job and family-related pressures. Relationship with spouse also suffers due to prolonged working hours. Yet the need for economic independence which brings respect and status in the spouses family and society at large, motivates her to remain employed.
