Abstract
Sudden lock down and changing norms of workplace has given rise to a challenge to the Human Resource (HR) departments of the organizations; they are required to facilitate the adaptability and coping with the sudden changes warranted because of pandemic. HR needs to identify the employee related challenges during and post-pandemic and have to review their strategy to cope with the uncertainties. This paper first, explores the employee related chall enges t hat organi zati ons faced due to pandemic; secondly, identifies the strategies followed by organizations to mitigate the effects or respond to the challenges and thirdly, examines the perception of HR regarding the preparedness of the organizations and employees to resume work.
