Abstract
Cloud computing involves the delivery of computing as a service instead of a product. In cloud computing environment the resources are provided as a utility to the end users. End users access the shared resources through internet. The two advantages of cloud are ease-of-use and cost-effectiveness. Despite of the advantages offered by cloud to the organizations there are still factors which inhibit the use of cloud. This paper explores the basics of cloud computing with introduction to security risks involved in it.
