Abstract
The rapid development of internet technologies and digital communication platforms has transformed the global advertising industry. Businesses increasingly rely on digital marketing tools such as social media advertising, search engine marketing, email marketing, and influencer marketing instead of traditional advertising methods like television, radio, newspapers, and magazines. This empirical statistical research paper examines the impact of digital marketing on traditional advertising methods and consumer behaviour. The study uses a quantitative research design based on survey responses collected from consumers and marketing professionals. Statistical techniques including percentage analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis, and chi-square testing are applied to analyze the relationship between digital marketing effectiveness and declining dependence on traditional advertising. The findings indicate that digital marketing significantly influences advertising strategies due to its cost-effectiveness, audience targeting, interactivity, and measurable performance. The study concludes that although traditional advertising still contributes to mass communication and brand credibility, digital marketing has become the dominant promotional strategy in modern business environments.
