Abstract
This study examines how green transformational leadership in a developing country’s manufacturing sector is impacted by green HRM practices that are focused on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG). The theoretical frameworks of the resource-based view, social learning theory, and stakeholder theory elucidate the mechanisms by which the effective integration of ESG principles with HR practices impacts green leadership practices. Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) quantitatively evaluated the dependent variable of green transformational leadership in conjunction with the dimensions of environmental, social, and governance practices. Using purposive sampling, data were collected from 487 full-time executives within manufacturing enterprises. The results show that all three elements of ESG-focused green HR practices have a significant impact on green transformational leadership.
