Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to
present an exploratory study on
the depiction of industrial relations
in commercial or popular
movies. The paper begins with a
brief note on the social, political
and cultural influence of movies
along with the need for and importance
of this study. Further,
the criteria for selection of movies
and the methodology adopted
for the study is delineated. A content
manifest approach is used in
this paper. Followed by this is an
examination of the movie background
and findings from the
analysis. The paper concludes
with the contributions and implications
of this study.
