Abstract

This study links employees’ employer brand perceptions with their affective commitment and job tensions when sequentially mediated by their perceptions of psychological empowerment and organizational identification, respectively. Based on the literature survey a conceptual pat h model was formulated. 810 executives from Indian organizations provided data for the study and by applying different statistical techniques, the proposed model was tested against other competing models. According to the results, all the study hypotheses and the proposed conceptual path model were accepted. Subsequently, the theoretical and practical implications of the findings were discussed. The study concluded by noting its limitations and proposing directions for future research.
