Abstract

Present study aims to investigate the moderating effect of technologies into behavioural intentions of tourists’ toward use of mobile wallets while making digital payments with the help of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Sample of 250 tourists, visiting the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand has been collected through simple random sampling technique over predictor variables; Perceived value (PA), Compatibility (CO), Perceived enjoyment (PE) and Social Influence (SI), Mediating variables; Service Satisfaction (SS) and Service Trust (ST) and Behavioural intentions of tourists working as outcome variables. Further, keeping in view both conceptual and theoretical frameworks of the study, the Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) technique was performed to test the proposed model. Findings of tested model brings into notice that there is significant positive relationship between and within predictor variables (PA, CO, PE & SI) and mediating variables (SS & ST). Both predictor and mediating variables are significantly impacting the outcome variable (Behavioural Intentions of tourists) toward use of mobile wallets for digital payments.
