Abstract
The study prospects the relevance of social innovation through Social Entrepreneurship in the context of technological gradation in Punjab. As Society is making unprecedented technological progress it significantly affects social entrepreneurship and technology catalyzes these changes. Through a review of the literature, it has been analyzed that social entrepreneurs harness technology to drive transformative change. It enables social entrepreneurs to devise creative solutions through information technology, mobile applications, and the Internet of Things (IoT). Moreover, technology democratizes access to education and financial services, fostering economic development by enhancing employability and skills acquisition. Expanding market reach is another hallmark of this evolution, facilitated by technology. This intersection of technology and social innovation holds immense potential for addressing complex global challenges and contributing to both social and economic development. In light of this, the present study focuses on exploring and leveraging technology’s potential to create a positive social impact on society by social entrepreneurs in Punjab. The scope of social entrepreneurship has been limited by the states social, economic, cultural, and natural circumstances. In Punjab, social entrepreneurs are leveraging technology to address a variety of social issues, including education, healthcare, agriculture, financial inclusion, and the environment.
