Abstract
Agritourism is emerging as one of the aspects that have the potential to assist India in achieving inclusive sustainable growth. The rise of digital platforms has transformed the way users interact, enabling them to access and share information effectively. The research proposes to assess the impact of technological advancements in the tourism industry and its application in agritourism to facilitate its expansion through digitalization. This study proposes to undertake a detailed assessment of the integration of innovations in the tourism industry and its application in agritourism research to comprehend the potential of the expansion of the industry through digitalization. It also highlights emerging challenges in the industry and recent findings on how advanced technology is fostering networking among farmers. Ultimately, the study anticipates that the adoption of digital solutions will not only enhance the promotion of agritourism but also contribute to the sustainable development of rural areas in India.
