Abstract

This research project investigates the prevalence of food adulteration and the efficacy of existing legal frameworks. It aims to enhance consumer awareness regarding food adulteration risks and advocate for stringent law enforcement to combat these malpractices. Employing a mixed-methods approach, this study integrates a comprehensive literature review, consumer surveys, and laboratory-based case studies analyzing food samples. The research explores the economic implications of food adulteration on the industry and its detrimental effects on consumer health. Findings underscore the critical need for heightened consumer awareness and proactive measures by stakeholders to mitigate the serious public health risks posed by food adulteration.
